Service Description

This workshop is the one I am most excited about!! Throughout history, artists have always used sketchbooks. Da Vinci kept his inventions in his! Sketchbooks provide students with a safe place to explore ideas, practice new skills, document time, and make mistakes without the fear of judgment. There are no mistakes - just happy accidents! By keeping a sketchbook ideas grow, and lead to the development of new ones. Using pen and ink, marker, colored pencils, watercolor and collage, students will be given prompts, exercises, and challenges to work through their book and they'll learn new drawing techniques with guided imagery. We'll work outside, draw upside down, solve crazy problems, make portraits, and partner with others to share thoughts and ideas. Most of the pages alone are little works of art themselves! This workshop is NOT: Doodle/draw whatever you want. Students will be challenged! Includes an archival hardbound book, drawing pencils and pens. Students will... Develop big ideas Find solutions Be reflective Mark moments in time Express individuality Learn visual storytelling Test the imagination and enhance creativity Results: an incredibly personal and treasured keepsake ❤️ Note: These images don't necessarily reflect results
