Service Description
YOU are the author and Illustrator! An illustrator is an artist who specializes in creating visual images through a combination of design, art, and creative skills. In the most simplified terms, an illustrator is someone who draws or creates images for magazines, books, advertisements, posters, greeting cards, and more. Students will be given prompts and learn brainstorming techniques for character development. They'll learn to make storyboards using "thumbnail images" to express and create their characters short story or comic book. Kids will write, layout and design their pages and cover, to illustrate their story. A super fun and creative workshop. Access to an IPad and Apple Pen are suggested but are not mandatory. Students will... Create character development Organize thoughts and ideas Use language arts skills and typography to become storytellers Learn about graphic design and careers in visual communications Use imagination to develop creative visual imagery And share their story to the world! Note: images here don't necessarily reflect finished products
